    3. Here's one. Listed in 3 different places ! St Peter and Paul's Church, Doagh, Lower Magheracloone St Peter and Paul's Church and cemetery, Drumconrath (The same?) There is more than one Catholic church structure in each of these two church parishes, but the records usually are kept in one parish location/record. In Magheracloone are Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Knocknacran East townland The records for Magheracloone Catholic parish, which also has the same boundaries as its civil parish, are on microfilm, but it is only available at the National Library of Ireland in Dublin, and at PRONI, in Belfast. They are *not* available elsewhere, except for the heritage centre for this area which will do research in them for a fee. Almost all of the Catholic families of long ago were dirt poor, and few were able to afford tombstones even in the graveyard surrounding the local Catholic church, so you won't find any. The earliest standing church in Magheracloone today, Sts. Peter and Paul, dates from 1823. 3. Thankyou Pat for your input, your remark at the end though saying I won't find tombstones is incorrect....A piece written by a relative in 1969 states: The inscription on Bryan Smith's headstone in Magheracloone cemetery declares that it was erected th the memory of Bryan Smith of Beag died 10/10/1832 aged 56 and his wife Catherine died 1836 aged 66 years by ther son Michael Smith of Beagh. A later inscription said Micheal Smith of Beagh died 26 Jan 1876 aged 76". So now I just have to find someone in the area is who willing to go and take a photo. Regards June
