    1. [MONAGHAN~] DUFFY RESEARCH
    2. Philip Zubler
    3. I am looking for any information on my GG Grandfather. He lived in County Monaghan and his last name was DUFFY which is a common name there. His first name is unknown. More than likely he was born around 1800. He had one child, a son, Philip DUFFY, born in County Monaghan about 1824/25. They moved to Eastern Canada around 1826/27 and in the 1840's moved to upper New York State, around Lansingburg. He was a cousin to Sir Charles Gavan DUFFY of Monaghan. The "Cousin" may be clan related and not truly a close kin. Research by an aunt suggests his name might be Francis Duffy but is without certainty. Perhaps someone can help or point me in the right direction.
