    3. Suggest you obtain birth/marriage/death records from Massachusetts, if you have not already done so. Massachusetts vital records go back to ca. 1845, and can contain information of much research use. The LDS (Mormon) Family History Library has microfilmed all, and there are indexes to all. The microfilms can be obtained by your local LDS Family History Center for your use there. Also, if they resided in Boston, Boston has kept a separate, different set of records which is in addition to the state ones. Look at both, as the people in question could be listed in one and not the other. Also, city directories can be useful in pinpointing a specific location. Many of these, also, are on microfilm from the FHL.
