I hope these names will ring a bell for someone there. Among my late grandmother's things was a little box of the 2"x 4" memorial cards given to mourners at Catholic funerals. One was for my great-grandmother, Josephine Dolan Finn (d. 1927), and another for her sister, Mary Dolan (d.1937). Their parents were Thomas Dolan and Noda McNally who were from Co Monaghan and I'm quite sure they stayed there. I'd love to know what happened to the members of that family who didn't move to the US. I also found a card which reads "...in loving memory of Owen Byrne...Belgium Park, Monaghan who died 5th May 1970 Aged 70 years..." This man was the age of my grandmother and, since she never left New York in her life, I doubt Mr. Byrne was just a friend, more likely he was a relative. I'd be ever so grateful to anyone who might know if and how the Byrnes, Dolans and McNallys connect. I've had a very hard time gathering information about my mother's side of the family; no one is left. Thanks for the help. Sherry Irish
