I'm afraid I can't help with Pues, but am very interested in your Elizabeth Peacock. The surname was very rare, so I expect there would be some connection between yours, and my Sarah Peacock who married Joseph McKee ca. 1816. I know nothing of her family, but as she settled to live in Muckno Parish, I imagine she came from close by. I have found two Peacocks in Clontibret Parish - William and James, both farm laborers.
