I am confused, I thought that since the 'record office' had burnt in 1922 there were no records - or were those only the records for Northern Ireland? And if so, would the records for the Parish of Errigal Trough, Emyvale, Glaslough, Tonynumery, etc. be in Dublin or Belfast? So if I had an ancestor born in 1865 or married in 1865 in Co. Monaghan I could write the address below and get the certificate? What about searches? Thanks for your help, Sandra Whittaker (Northern Alberta, Canada) "Jean L.
