    3. Dear Listers, I am sending this to both the Monaghan list and the Flack list as it will be of interest to both. Thanks to David O'Daly, I found the Clogher Historical Society site in Monaghan. Their page gave information on Rev. Thomas Clark, a Seceder Presbyterian minister who left Ireland for New York about 1764, taking about 300 people with him. Some of the FLACKs were in this group. So, those of you who have Flacks in NY before the Revolution need to check this out. My Flacks must have stayed in Ireland until later. William I (orJ) Flack was naturalized in Essex County NY. This paper said he was from County Cavan, but his son Hugh Wellington Flack said he was from Ballybay, County Monaghan. Interesting. Marie Forehan
