Looking for family of John WALLACE b. 1808 in Monaghan County. He immigrated to Quebec, Canada in 1822 & later moved to Ontario, Canada where he died in 1891. His wife was Jane JOHNSTON. John WALLACE was survived by a brother of Lansdowne, Ontario & a sister of Buffalo, New York, USA. I believe John WALLACE had a sister named Elizabeth who married Hugh McANALLY. In 1850 Elizabeth & Hugh McANALLY were in Tollcross (Glasgow), Scotland. By 1869, Elizabeth was a widow. I last found her in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland in 1881. Her name was Elizabeth WALLACE in the census. Thanks! Sue Marcus
