Hello. My gg grandmother was Hannah Wright married to David Mahaffey who changed the spelling of the name when he came to the states. They were married in County Monaghan or at least lived there before coming over. They were Presbyterians. Wonder if the Wright might be related to the one mentioned here. Have not worked on the Wright family at all, but have wondered about it. David and wife came to Iowa in the 1870's. Mary Ewing McComb, OH
