Hi My name is Margaret Steele. I have been researching my family tree on the Scottish lists for about a year now. Two of my branches come from Ireland, but I have only one very slight (and I do mean slight) clue to where one branch comes from. I obtained a birth certificate for a PETER MONE born in Glasgow in 1889. His parents were PATRICK MONE and CATHERINE MONE ? and they were married on 7th January 1877 in the Parish of CLONTIBRET. I know my mother had 'a' cousin Peter Mone and this is the only one born in Scotland over a period of 20 years. Would anyone on the list have access to the records for Clontibret.
