What I've picked up about naming children: First male is named after the child's paternal g.father The first female is names after the child's maternal g.mother I believe the next male child is named after his father. Next female child gets her mother's name But I don't recall hearing about a male child getting his maternal g.father's name Or, the female child being named after her paternal g.mother. Anybody got anymore ideas about this? jean
