Hello I am hoping SKS can provide some assistance - or if I'm really lucky, someone else is searching this line: I have just discovered that my ggg grandfather was a man by the name of Lancott WEIR. His son Robert (my gg grandfather), according to the 1901 Canadian census, was born March 17, 1832 and his obituary (1905) states he was born in County Monaghan. He came at the age of 6 with his family to Canada and settled in Cobourg Ontario. The family was Bible Christian and later Methodist. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I might determine the townland? Any other suggestions greatly appreciated. Patty
