    3. For those of you questioning the Clones 'evacuation', check your copies of "The Monaghan Story". During the period of 1685-1688 there was a change of kings, so to speak. The controversy was 'tween James and William. If you don't have a copy of that book, check your other Irish history books. Clones was one area, so I'm told, that didn't get ravaged during that little 'set-to'. On my way to Monaghan and counties south next week Looking forward to experiencing the Irish Summer that I'm told happens about now.........we'll see. jean.

    3. Jean in Monagham see if you find a chuch called St. Mary in the reconds and or the name McCraren . If you have time ?
