The IRA raided private homes in North Monaghan, in 1920, looking to obtain needed arms. One of the families that bravely resisted the raids was the Listers of Kilnacran. Other families that resisted were listed as being in; Kilnadrean, Corragh, Killybressal, Tattindonagh, Clones, and Ballinode. Patrick Traynor, in California's gold-rush country. tray@jps.net
