The only parks on the Monaghan-Cavan border indicated are Bellmont Forest, right on the border between Cootehill/Muinchille, Cavan, and Aghanamullen, Mongahan, and Dun A Ri Forest Park, where Cos. Monaghan, Cavan and Meath meet. This name could well be a handed-down (and much worked over) version of an Irish name for one of the "Big Houses" -- where the lord of the manor, etc., lived "back then."
