Hi all, I am new to this particular list so I thought I would introduce myself. I am trying to track down the descendents of a Thomas Wiley born in Monaghan in the 1840s to a Hugh Wiley and unknown female. Thomas came out to Australia (Western Australia to be precise) in the 1860s. Two sisters also came out. They were called Eliza and Margaret. All I know for certain is that Hugh Wiley was a land owner as sometime in the 1960s Irish authorities contacted Western Australian authorities to say that some 'entailed land' (whatever that means) had been left to a descendent in West Australia. The descendant turned down the land and so it went back to Ireland (so to speak). I am trying to locate anything about this Thomas Wiley (usual stuff like parents, family in Ireland and so on) or anything about the entailed land. Does anyone know anything about this guy, or how I might find out about the entailed land? Regards to all Tony
