    3. Hi, I'm a bit late on commenting on this topic, but I was away in Ireland [and Co. Monaghan] until a few days ago. Unless I'm very mistaken, I do believe that the Clones Church Records on LDS film No. 0897416 to which you refer, are not Catholic Church records, but actually for the Clones Parish Church of Ireland, which covers Clones Parish both in Co. Monaghan and Co. Fermanagh. I've looked at these records several times and my recollection is that they were Church of Ireland records and, by the way, very interesting ones.
