    3. Thank you for sharing the Ballybay Presbyterian story. -- We are also trying to locate the Ancestors or siblings of James Marshall who was born in 1821 in Ballybay ( townland or village) Co. Monaghan Ireland and who with his brother John came to Canada in or before 1845. James settled in Manvers Township (in then Durham County, Upper Canada ) now Victoria County, Ontario . They reportedly landed at Port Hope and came North. John stopped in the Bewdley area and was not heard of again. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. All the information that I have been able to capture is included on our site. www3.sympatico.ca/fmarshall

    3. Hi Fred, You might try searching in the LDS Family History Library Catalog which is on their on-line site: familysearch.org I know that I have seen Ballybay Presbyterian records on microfilm from LDS in the past. There are 3 or 4 Presbyterian Meetinghouses that fall under the Ballybay name at one time or another. It's a bit tricky to get them all straight. I know of: Ballybay; Derryvalley [Ballybay] amd Cahans [Ballybay]. One of the Meetinghouse records I saw on microfilm had a list of family groups which was quite wonderful.
