Older U.S.A.. IGI says Hugh CATEN.CATON b. 15 April 1824/7 at Molliash Mountain, near Castleblayney. Parents either Hugh and Sally Smiley or a John. Hugh in 1840 U.S. New York census. Has anyone found his parents by now?? i have quite a bit of info to share on his American life, such as Civil War service, etc. OR would love to hear more about that area in Ireland.
