I'm so sorry to discover that folks have reacted to Jane's request with suspicion and accusations...Anyone on this list, in particular, must be familiar with the extensive research she has done and generously posted where we can all access it and have no doubt benefited from her occasional personal responses. I know I have. It hardly seems appropriate to dignify such undeserving negativism with a reply, or to have to defend a researcher who has so selflessly devoted time and effort in compiling data for the benefit of the Irish genealogy community at large, but I am obliged to speak out on her behalf and thank her for all the good she has done and would like to do if those who have the information she seeks would only help HER for a change.
