Ann Thank you so very much for answering this for me. I was so thrilled to find my Armstrong family baptisms in the Co. Monaghan records, but found it so confusing when the "Lisreask" or "Lisrace" they were said to be from was in Co. Fermanagh. Unfortunately, although the parish records began in 1682, my family didn't seem to appear until 1796 with the baptism of the first child, so I will have to took elsewhere, possibly somewhere called "Brooksborough" in Co.
