    3. This is an update of my previous post on this search... Looking for information on Keirnan or Kiernan family from County Monaghan (maybe County Femanagh or County Cavan)... My great-grandfather, John Swanzy Kiernan, left Ireland for Canada in 1860 from the Glasslough area – Coolcollid townland of Donagh parish (Monaghan). He had lived in Naghill townland of Drumsnat parish (Monaghan) earlier. He was a farmer and a teacher... He was Church of Ireland . Also looking for Swanzy and Malcolm from Monaghan (and maybe Fermanagh or Cavan)... John Swanzy Kiernan (or Keirnan)(born in 1812) -- Married Mary Malcolm (or Meaclem or something close)(born in 1815) in Naghill Townland of Drumsnat Parish in 1834... It is possible (likely) that his mother's maiden name was Swanzy (maybe Mary Swanzy ???) Lots of Swanzy's in Ballagh, Blackraw, Skervan, Skeagh and Naghill townlands of Drumsnat parish (Monaghan) and Collatty and Mullabrack townlands of Clones parish (Monaghan) --- Trying to connect the Kiernans (Keirnans), Swanzys and Meaclems (Malcolms)… Thanks Dick Kiernan
