Hi! All I'm new to the list and encouraged by Jane I'm posting my search in the hope that maybe someone out there can shed some light. Thomas Duffy married Mary Carroll daughter of Michael and Mary Carroll in Monaghan in the early 1840s. Son Owen was born March 1843or 44 in Ireland or on the high sea. They ended in North Providence (now known as Pawtucket) Rhode Island at the latest in 1847. I've found several entries in the tithe app. for Michael C.
