Hi, folks. I have a written town name that I assume is mispelled. As written it looks like CallymcCross .... would this likely be "Carrickmacross"? Or is there somnething closer in Ireland. I know this is the Monaghan list ... all of my other Irish folk are of Monaghan. The record is a US naturalization paper from 1841. Bryan MARTIN born about 1790 had his town of origin listed as "CallymcCross" in Ireland. I don't even have a county referenced. He died 17 March 1865, age 75, in Boston Massachusetts, USA. He was Roman Catholic. Many thanks for any hints. ... and I'll understand the chuckles over the spelling. Al Rose researching: MARTIN, LARKIN, LAFFERTY, CULLEN, McELHENEY, McGOUGH, McCULLOUGH
