My great grandparents were JOHN KINNEY/Kenny/Kenna ?????? and ANN McGuigan/McGonghan/McGoughan/McGough ???? They married in Glasgow in 1850. Peter was born 1851 and John there in 1852. John Sr.came to Troy NY alone in 1852 and worked as an Iron Moulder. Anne followed with the baby John in 1853. The older child Peter was not in the 1855 New York State census. My grandfather Henry was born in 1854 in Troy NY. The other children Elizabeth, James, Annie, George. Jane and Helen were born in Troy, Rochester ? or Yonkers NY. Geraldine
