    3. Now that is interesting - My records show the Parish of Errigle Trough - when I look up my ancestors on the IGI - they show the parish of Errigle Trough - maybe someone can tell us which is correct. It is amazing how many people are interested in this little 'one horse town.' Sandy W -----Original Message----- From: Donna E. If you are, then you do not know that I am also interested in Emyvale as well. Amazing, as Emyvale has been described to me as a "one street town." So, to have someone else interested in it is amazing, in my opinion. In short, I would be interested in any information from responses that you receive, if you would be so kind as to share those. It is my understanding that Emyvale is in the Civil Parish of Donagh, according to Lewis' Topographical Dictionary of Townlands, etc. as well as the Townland/Town guide online. Trough is the Barony and Monaghan is the Poor Law Union. My ancestors were Scots-Irish and were Presbyterian - names that I am seeking are ROGERS, MORRISON, McKIRK, ALEXANDER, McCULLOCH.
