I am researching the THOMPSON family of county Monaghan in the mid 1800's. William Thompson was born Jan 25 in Tullynageer, Monaghan , to James THOMPSON and Mary BIRCH. William was one of 8 children born to James and Mary. William also had 13 other half-siblings as James was married a second time (second wife's name unknown). Does anyone out there have any connections to this family? I realize the information is sparse but I'm just starting to research this family.
