I am looking for information about ROBERT LOWE and MARGARET JANE LOWE [nee MOORE] who would have married in the 1860's. Margaret Jane emigrated to Australia mid 1880's, I have been unable to find the death of ROBERT LOWE here in Australia and I am wondering if he may have died in Ireland. They had two sons born in COOTEHILL, ROBERT MOORE LOWE 1868, and DUNLOP MOORE LOWE 1869, they then had three daughters MARGARET JANE 1874, ANNA ADELAIDE 1876, ETHEL abt 1882 and another son WILLIAM HAMILTON DOBIN MOORE LOWE 1885 all born CLONES, MONAGHAN. Family story is that they ran a tavern or hotel in Monaghan, this maybe would account for Margaret's descent into alcoholism and death from same in 1912. would appreciate any information on the LOWE / MOORE name in these counties.
