Note that familysearch has a searchable Tithe Applotments now too, but some of the same problems as on the National Archives. For example, when I search for my grgrgrandfather in North Tahert (as appears on the original TA), Enniskeen, Cavan, I can't find him. Instead, he's in North Lahert, Enniskeen, Meath. There are adjoining Enniskeens, but they're in different counties and baronies, and there's no such place as North Lahert. So be creative. Diane
