I have already posted a message about being unsuccessful finding the tithes for the townland of Derrynahesco (Dernahesco). I have looked at different spellings in Clones and Tedavnet parishes, and I have searched unsuccessfully using family names from Griffiths, like Carbin and Robinson, to find a possible location. Similarly I have looked for Derrynasell (Dernasell) West, a townland butting on to Derrynahesco, and have not been able to find this townland in the tithes either! I can only conclude that maybe both these townlands are two examples of townlands that have been left off the listing that is posted on line. Has any one else had a similar experience? Any suggestions anyone? James

The info I was given some time ago was that not all land was subject to tithes. It is possible that they were not liable to tithes. A remote possibility but one to keep in mind.
