    2. Have you already checked the civil birth and records on familysearch (Castleblayney district)? 1901 and 1911 censuses should also help. Diane -----Original Message----- From: JJG <jg2375@gmail.com> To: irl-monaghan <irl-monaghan@rootsweb.com> Sent: Fri, Dec 14, 2012 7:08 am Subject: [IRL-MONAGHAN] Church of St Mary, Annahala, Carrickatee cemetery I have learned just today that many of my family are buried in Carrickatee graveyard at St Mary church, about 9 kms south of Ballybay, Monaghan. If anyone lives near there or has photographed graves there, I would be grateful for information about Patrick COYLE, Owen COYLE, and Margaret COYLE, all buried there. I have approximate dates for their births, but nothing about their death. Patrick COYLE was born about 1886 in Roo; Owen about 1881; and Margaret around 1890. From what I have learned, Patrick COYLE's wife is also buried with him in Carrickatee, but I do not know her first name. I am looking for any and all information from their gravestones, including the correct date of birth and children, if any. (I submitted this the other day, but I may have sent it to the wrong address.) 3. Hello all, Does Castleblaney district include Ballybay and/or Roo? Like John's Coyles, my Coyles might be from Ballybay/Roo although born in the 1820s. The ones I know about emigrated in the 1840s-1850s and died in NYC. I suspect there were siblings who never left Ireland. Also, the mother of my Patrick Coyle (born about 1820, arrived NYC before 1850) possibly died there. Her name was Catherine McCabe according to Patrick's death record. Patrick's father, Owen Coyle, was listed as a widower age 70yrs living with Patrick in NYC's 1855 census.
