    1. JORDAN/CLANCY/CLEARY/MCNALLY
    2. Mary George
    3. My grandmother was Maria McNALLY, formerly CLANCY or CLEARY, and also married to COULTHARD, born Maria JORDAN in Monaghan, possibly Monaghan Town in about 1840. She was married to Hugh McNALLY, also Irish from the old Ulster counties, but I am not sure from where. Possibly Co. Down. Maria went to England, probably with first husband, and had several daughters by her husbands, all born in Northumberland, England, where she is seen in census of 1881. I have no further information on this family before they came to England. If anyone has this combination of details, I would be glad to hear from them. Mary George nee CLARKE Researching JORDAN co. 1. SHORT
    2. Is there anyway possible if someone could look up if he/she has Griffith's for some names. I am looking for my gggf Bernard SHORT and don't know the parish where he came from but have lots of names of people who came from the same place as he did. Thanks so much. Bernard and Patrick LARKIN, Bernard BYRNE, Peter BYRNE and Patrick MORGAN. If there are any of those surnames that coincide without the first names, I will even appreciate that although that may be pushing it. Thank you so much. Patty

    1. ~Jane Gordon ~ John Gordon McComb~
    2. Hello listers I am searching for any McComb~Gordon information. Anytime from Scotland 1600s, all the way through a John Gordon McComb, wife Jane Gordon em. to US in 1755 (This John Gordon McComb is my "7th grandfathers cousin"). We ventured from Scotland off into Antrim Ireland somewhere between the years 1619 and 1710 (the life span of my 10th grandfather, 91 years old ), most likely 1680. They lived at Dunturkey, Ballymere, Parish of Ballymere Co. Antrim, 12 miles N. of Belfast on a farm rented from town. His son (my 9th grandfather) was a Linen draper also born in Scotland. My line was on U.S. land by 1732.(this is before there was a U.S. president) We came in through Delaware Maryland, had a brief stay in N.Y. then branched around to Cumberland Co. Pa, Derry Pa, Middle Spring Pa, and Lancaster Co., also whats known now as Jefferson County, NY. and some other areas. There were 7 brothers plus their father (my 8th grandfather) that came initially. History has confirmed 4 of them in America, my line included. Some McComb changed the spelling to Macomb, and later McComb(s) in some cases. Some went to Chicago and Canada, and some other areas.
