    3. Here's a website that allows you to type in a townland and find it on a map. http://193.178.1.178/Monaghan_gPlan/ Googling "Gplan" and other counties' names may help you find similar sites. It works, at least, for Mayo and Sligo. 2. Who might have a really good map which could tell me if Naghill in Monaghan is close to Magheracross in County Fermanagh. I've got two men both Lindsay's who share the exact DNA in my Lindsay surname project and one ancestor is supposed to be born in Negil (Naghill) Ireland and the other in Magheracross. Thanks. 3. Hello and greetings from Tasmania. I am searching for my 3xgreat grandparents John Murphy a farmer of Co Monaghan and his wife Catherine Crombie. Their daughter Anne Teresa Murphy was born Co Monaghan c 1836. She emigrated to Australia at age five so I am assuming her parents did as well! The only information I have comes from Anne's death certificate in Victoria, Australia so it isn't much to go on. Still no harm in trying! Happy to help with any queries in Tasmania. 3. Thanks, Maureen Corlealackagh is cheek by jowl with Lackagh about 14 miles from Glasslough according to multimap.com George could be one of mine since I seem to have 2 related lines in Monaghan. Do you by any chance have a John Farrell married to Anne (?) with a Daughter Mary born 1838?. All the documentation* I have for Mary Farrell is in Liverpool but it seems she had a connection to Monaghan since the inside covers of her son, John Matthew Gannon's, primers have Annyalla NS written inside them and John Matthew eventually married a Bridget Farrell from Cloghan. But I don't know if Mary Farrell's people were actually from there. She and her husband had been to the US, left under rather hurried circumstances and had reason to not wish to be easily located, or so the story suggests. *Mary's marriage cert.s to Matthew Guinane/Gannon (Sept. 1863 St Patrick's Liverpool & civil registration from PRO) has her father as John, clothier, deceased. and her mother as Anne Her death cert. from the PRO has her dying in 1888 at age 50. In checking my files I found some information on a George Farrell of Corlelackagh (died 20 Jan 1895, will probated 26 Feb 1896). His wife was listed in Calendar of Wills - Armagh Registry website as Jessie Helen (or Ellen) Walker. Also have 7 children listed for them (courtesy of Jack Storey). Tydavnet Parish (Ballinode Church) The ones contributed by Mary McNally have a lot of McNALLY grave markers. Donagh Old Cemetery has some neat old stones. Thanks again to our helpers. You can look through them pretty easily as there are just a few in each cemetery.) Christina Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives http://www.igp-web.com/IGPArchives/
