Hello all, I am searching for information on the KENNEDY and EGINTON families of Crossakiel/Crossakeel, Co. Meath, located approx. 5 miles west of Kells. Kathryn KENNEDY, b. 13 January 1881, came to America and apparently settled in New York City sometime before 1897. Unfortunately, I can find no record of her on any ship passenger lists. John KENNEDY, b. 1843, and Eleanor EGINTON, b. 1847, were married in 1868. I believe these may have been the parents of Kathryn KENNEDY, because she apparently listed John KENNEDY and Ellen EGENTON as the names of her parents on her Social Security application. If anyone has any information on these families, or where I could find birth/marriage/death records for any of these people, the information would be greatly appreciated.
