    3. Hi Pete, I am sorry to hear of the disaster - if it's any consolation, we've all done it!! My answer has been twofold - All my files are copied on to CDs using a cheap CD-RW, and secondly, I learnt how to write web pages and I store them there as well. Most ISPs give you about ten megabytes of disc space to play with, and that's enough to paper over the Berkshire Hills, so it's a viable proposition. If there's any way I can help, let me know, even though I'm in Wales! Best wishes Bry _______/|\----------------/|\_____________/||=====||\_____ ...from Border Monmouthshire, between the Severn bridges See a Monmouthshire village at work: Visit the Caerwent Community website www.caerwentcom.com > > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: [MEATH] Lost mail > Date: Wed, 15 Jan 2003 16:47:35 EST > > It's a long story, but as of a few hours ago, I no longer have access to the > file on my hard-drive........which contains about 6000 letters sent to me > (mostly from the Irish lists) and which I wanted to keep for future > use/reference.
