Kathleen, FYI, I saw some Gilesenans in the old cemetery right behind the 'Church of Ireland' church in the center of Athboy, County Meath, when I was there in May hunting my own ancestors/cousins. Maybe some of them are yours. (I noticed the name because it bore some linguistic similarity to the older 'Hesnan' variant of my patrilineal surname, whose origins are still subject to wild speculation.) ----------------- Annamarie Hessman [email protected] > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2003 9:20 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [MEATH] Gilson/Gilsenans surname in Navan > > > Would it be possible to check and see if you have any > Gilsons/Gilsenans ?
