    3. Is this a legitimate e-mail? Blank e-mails with attachments are the #1 virus carrier! If legit please don't send blank! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 2003 12:00 PM Subject: IRL-MEATH-D Digest V03 #86

    3. I assume digest is the way people subscribed under Meath D get their email from the list. Though email from the Rootsweb server appears LIKE attachments, it is not an attachment as we know them, and cannot carry a virus or worm payload. I have my email set to open no attachments, but if it comes from Rootsweb, as it does to all list admins every day, I just toggle over and read the emails I want to read. As admin I don't often do that, in part because my list mail always arrived in list (L) form, so I have little need to read the same message twice. I hope this helps.
