As an aside to my post about John Pratt Campbell (who was a strong Orangeman), I picked up a book about Orangeism titled Orangeism: Sketches of the History of the Institution in Ireland at a used bookstore a while back. Just this week I finally looked at it and realized that it was written by Daniel O'Connell and published in Boston, USA in 1872. Having read about O'Connell between the purchase of the book and the above realization, it put the messages in the book in perspective. Alan
