I am researching my wife's family, the Melvins of Thomastown (near Crossakeel) and Baltrasna, all centred on Loughcrew parish and Oldcastle. I'd appreciate any assistance. I've got the 1901 census page but I haven't seen the 1911 page. Also, how can I pin down where they lived in Baltrasna and when and why they moved to Thomastown? My wife recalls that her father the late Anthony Melvin used to talk about 'land resettlement'. Does this ring any bells?
