Patrick Jones of Killallon, Meath married Catherine Flynn of Kilgar, Westmeath on February 28, 1797 at the Catholic Church at Clonmellon. That Catholic parish covers portions of both Meath and Westmeath. Catherine was the daughter of John Flynn and Judith Sorahan. She was baptized at Clonmellon in October, 1774. Patrick and Catherine had five children baptized at Clonmellon, James Jones 1797; Edward 1800; Ann 1803; Judith 1805; and Richard 1807. James and Edward, both farmers, emigrated to Cattaraugus County, New York. James later moved his family to Nebraska Territory. There will be separate queries for both James and Edward soon.
