Hi all, Does anyone have potential references for emigrants to Mayo from Ulster because of the Battle of the Diamond in Ulster? I have some information that the Cunninghams in my ancestry came from Belfast, but I found a large group of them in Cashel, Kilcummin, county Mayo on Griffiths Valuation in 1857. I understand that many of the Catholic emigrants came to Crossmolina, and negotiated with estate holders in the area for land. Cashel is not horribly far away from Crossmolina, so it wouldn't see a big stretch that some may of settled in Kilcummin area. Thanks, John
