Hi, I am aware of a Mary Ruddy in Killasser parish... in addition, there are McAndrews in my ancestry in the same parish... do you know where in Mayo your ancestors were from? Or is that what you are trying to find out? Have you used Griffith's Valuation yet to identify the areas where Ruddys were in 1856-8? If you have a little more information that would be helpful.
