My mother was Florence Mulcrone, daughter of Anne and David Mulcrone. She was third of 6 children and the only one to leave the Chicago area (when she married my dad, James Southwell. I have been to Westport many times, the first in 1972 when I did the backpacking thing and traveled around. Met Owen, Charlie, Poorack, Jimmy, Dick, anne and more on that trip. Have maintained sporadic contact with Emer Hughes, Blonaid Gannon and Nuala Mullan. I helped my brother Jim and his wife Gayle to plan their first visit to Westport 2 summers ago, connected them with Blonaid and Mary and Anne Hughes (Charlie and Bridie's daughters). They were able to meet many others one evening in the pub and had a grand time. We are recently in touch with Harry Hughes regarding family info on the other sisters of my gran's who emigrated to Chicago. He wants it for the reunion in April. I so wish I could come sometime, but not a good travel time for a teacher, so may! have to wait until I am a retired one. Who are your parents then and what is your name.
