Agree with Diane. However, RYDER is a Mayo name. Especially around Westport area. My thought is perhaps the PA RYDER family is linked to either the birth mother or birth father. Has the death certificate for Patrick HENNIGAN/HENNEGHAN in PA been checked out?? Was the surname changed at adoption?? If there is a PA certificate, names of parents could be on it but may or may not be those of the birth parents. However, could be a clue. Also marriage license/marriage certificate at parish church. Census records after RYDER family took custody. I would come in through the "side door". Check out the RYDER family Mary Ellen Chambers ________________________________ From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, January 4, 2012 7:33:21 AM Subject: Re: [IRL-MAYO] The Henneghan Family from County Mayo, Ireland This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Patrick Henneghan a fairly common Mayo name. Without more information, there's no way to know which, if any, is yours.
