My gggrand father was James Ruddy, whose wife was Mary or May. They came to NJ through Castle Garden, NY and settled first in PA and then in Paterson, NJ. They came to the US in June 12, 1860 on th ship "City of Washington". They had a daughter Anne who married James McBride. James' son, Thomas Francis McBride, was my grandfather. My dad was Johnnie Cleveland McBride. My full name is Susan McBride Cook. James Ruddy was born around 1830 in Ireland. Do you have any information that might help me?
