You can view transcripts of the records for 5 euros each and see if any birthdates match yours. If Thomas married a girl from Lancashire, it's likely they married there. There's an online index of Lancashire marriages-- http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/marriages.php Just plug in their names and see what you get. Many Lancashire church records are on line too, though it's been a long time since I've searched them. Ask someone on the Lancashire list for help.
