This will save people duplicating what you have already done. The marriage of 1881 would have a Civil record which will have the parents of the bride & groom and their address at that time. Although you can get that record at the Records office in Castlebar on North Antrim, you would have to figure out the exchange etc. Go the the General Records Office (GPO) website located in County Roscommon. It has ALL records for the Republic and will take credit cards. Have used them many times; turnaround is about 6-8 weeks for USA. Also, this will give you the townland/village of your ancestors. You might then be able to find sacramental records for them. If the English soldier in Dublin mentioned may be linked to you, go to the KEW website for English military records. You can get copies. If they were in Mayo at the time of Griffith's Valuation, you might check that. Just some avenues to research since you did not mention what has been done already by you. Have you checked the online Irish Census Records for 1901 and 1911? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
