I've worked with Jery Kilker in the past also. I really believe our lines are connected. I remember my Mom and Uncles always talking about the lawyer and priest in the family. It's possible the connection goes back another generation. My Great-grandfather was Michael Miles Kilker (from church records born 1838)who had a brother named Patrick,that much I'm certain of, possibly a sister named Mary and another brother named Owen. I'm sure they had other sibblings but have never been able to find them. My great grandfather was married to Hanora Barrett. On some paper work I have regarding my great grandfather's death it list names of Owen and Ellen. I assumed it was his parents but maybe that was his brother and wife's name listed. I'm just not sure. I would love to solve this puzzle because what I heard in the early days from the stories :) was that the Girardville Kilkers didn't want to recognize the Lost Creek Kilkers because of their status. I know my Uncle and Mom talked of this lawyer and priest often. So I guess we are still trying to connect the dots.....It would be great if we could solve this one. Take care.
