However, I don't think my O'DONNELL cousins have ever researched it. I'll have to check that out. To be a landlord at that time in history, I really doubt they had any connection to your lady. The Irish neighborhood where they resided along with my ancestors was extremely poor mid 19th century. Mainly Mayo immigrants who fled horrible conditions D/T the Famine in the 1850s. I guess the area known as The Angle may have been better to them but it was full of disease and extreme poverty. Will check around to see if I can locate anything on your lady. What was the townland/parish (Civil and/or Religions) your ancestor had origins. I have some lists of landlords who evicted. Don't recall O'DONNELL but then I was more conceren with the more prominent ones, LUCAN and others of the absentee Anglo Irish landlords.
