Griffith's shows 4 McLoughlins in Aghagower, including Martin in Knappagh Beg and Anthony in Keelkill. No Gormans in the parish, but some in neighboring Oughaval on the west and Ballyovey on the east. Perhaps someone on the list can tell you if Knappagh Beg or Keelkill is near either of those parishes. If so, that's likely where Martin and Mary married. Galway Susan McLoughlin, b. 1876 in Athenry, Co. Galway By 1879, the family appears in Fenloe, Newmarket on Fergus, Co. Clare, where at least two more children (William and Robert) were born, before moving on to Dalkey, Co. Dublin (two more children, Walter and Eva), and finally ending up in Aldershot, Hampshire. Martin was, by all accounts, involved with horses, either as a groom, coachman, or a dealer. I'd love a contact who could check church records for baptisms, or help get birth records. I'm also interested in any historical information about these specific locations/addresses listed on the birth records. Finally, I am hoping to find a marriage record for Martin and Mary. It's believed Patrick was their first child, so I'm hoping they were married nearby.
